BWY Pony Club

The Bedale Hunt welcomes all members of The Bedale Pony & West of Yore Pony Club to come and experience hunting. We hold a Meet specifically for children around Christmas and there are also other days that would be suitable for you. (Children need to be escorted by adults)

If you would like for your child to join us for a day’s hunting please contact the Secretary to see if the day is suitable.

Please note  the following:

• No children under the age of 4 years are permitted to be mounted within the participants.
• All children between 4 and 6 years of age should be, if mounted, on a lead rein with parent or guardian on foot, and be wearing a body protector and kite marked hat.
• Children between 7 and 16 years of age should be accompanied by a mounted adult who takes care of that child for the entire day, and be wearing a body protector and kite marked hat.
• No more than 2 children per 1 adult supervision ratio is acceptable
